Return Policy

EXCHANGES & RETURNS

Douglas Diamonds exists to satisfy our  customers.  Unless otherwise specified below, your purchase may be exchanged or refunded within 10 days from the original purchase date  by the original client when accompanied with the sales receipt.  Store credit is permitted within 30 days of purchase.  The item must be unused and unworn, in original condition, and in the original gift box with all warranty cards and explanation booklets intact.  Sale items, special orders, modified item (including sizing)  and/or custom pieces are not returnable or exchangeable.  Gift recipients will be issued a merchandise credit only.  Gift certificates, gift cards, and reward cards are not redeemable for cash.

REFUND PAYMENT METHOD

Credit card sales will be credited only to original card charged.  Cash sales will be paid by company check, within 5 business days.  Check sales will be paid by company check, 14 days from deposit date.

SPECIAL ORDERS

We regret that special order items are not returnable, and that no refund or exchange can be made.  All in-store special orders requre a 50% non-refundable deposit.  A special order constitutes any jewelry, gemstone, watch, or gift item ordered or altered at the client's request.  Additional postage may apply.

CUSTOM WORK

Custom designed jewelry involves metal, gems, and labor furnished by Douglas Diamonds for a specific client.  As such, all custom jewelry is non-refundable, and requires a 50% non-refundable deposit before the work begins.  Every effort will be made by Douglas Diamonds to accurately manufacture or produce the item(s) so ordered.  Full payment upon receipt of custom work will denote the client's complete satisfaction.  Minor adjustments such as ring sizing or texturing, will gladly be made by Douglas Diamonds to accommodate the wearer at either a modest fee or at no charge, depending on the extent of the work involved.

LAYAWAYS

Available in-store only.

WHITE GOLD ENHANCEMENT DISCLOSURE

Most white gold pieces are rhodium finished.  This is not a permanent treatment.  

SERVICING AND CLEANING

Douglas Diamonds will clean and inspect your jewelry free of charge.  We recommend our professional inspection four times per year to prolong the life of your jewelry. 

MAILING ITEMS

When sending and item of value to us, please insure it and address the package to "Douglas" and leave off the word "Diamonds" to increase the safety of the item.  Please get a tracking number for your package.
